I heard that the POTC ride in Annaheim, California is being made over to include scenes/characters from the new trilogy of films, can anyone confirm this??

Florida at WDW has an update there too on he ride. Bc when i went to WDW it was closed for refurnishment

florida is behind, the one in California is done. at the premiere people got to go on the new and improved potc ride

I live near the one in Cali and went to it last month. The ride now includes, I believe 3 Jack Sparrows in various scenes, Captain Barbossa and this wall of smoke you pass through which has Davy Jones image appearing to you as he talks. They also added some of the songs from the movie into the ride. It's nice... but they didn't really change much. And I'm mad because they replaced one of my favorite scenes with Jack. For those that have been on the ride.. at the very end you see some pirates trying to drag some gold and treasure up a hill. Well that is no more because they put Jack sitting there.  ::Tear Tear:: |

It doesnt matter which park is behind on the ride. The robot jack looks really like jack

it really looked like we were out side at night sailing through the waters in the ride!! omg it looked so cool. and was barbossa talking on the pearl or something.. bc i saw his mouth moving but i didnt hear anything..
