I don't know I think if they did any more then three it would ruin it, I don't think there is much more they can do with Jack, we pretty much know his life now.

Hmm...I think if they make a 4th it'll ruin the effect. I mean, three is good, and I know we're ALL gonna want more; but we also don't want it so badly overdone that we end up despising it...look at the Land Before Time series. That got REALLY old about number, I dunno, 15? So I dunno, three seems like a good number to me.

Johnny Depp will make more movies as Jack Sparrow, I read the deal was Disney will make 2 Movies of Johnny Depp's picking, with every 1 additional sequel made... Dont expect Will Turner, Governor Swann, Norrington or Barbossa to be in any sequels apart POTC3 though....

Alright this was from an interview with Jerry Bruickheimer and another interview from a person who works at Disney and for Pirates.
Interview from Terry Rossio
Online rumors say this is the final 'Pirates' movie - but I'm sure Disney has other plans. What do you think? Any more 'Pirates' movies left in you? It's like the fourth Indiana Jones picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen. I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can't say if we'll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made.

Well here are a few more things I didn't have a chance to post. This one is from Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot. The writers.
At World's End is just a matter of months away now. Is there any chance that there will be a fourth Pirates film? Or is that definitely the final chapter? Ted: Well you know, never say never, but right now we're just kind of looking forward to taking some time off (laughs). We've been all working on these movies for over two years now and it's about as close to honest work as I ever want to have to do.
Terry: I imagine that there might be some forces in play that might want there to be a fourth movie but I think there's truly no guarantee and there are actually also forces in play that would make it not happen. So for the purposes of At World's End... certainly on the set as we shoot out each actor, there's a sense of high school coming to end, you know, like summer is upon us and we're all going out there and graduating and this actually could be it. I think there's a chance of that. Certainly, At World's End is designed to finish the story. This trilogy was designed to be complete and I think that's part of what gives At World's End its power... that sense [that] this could be it -- this is the last of Jack Sparrow that you'll see. Right now, it's designed to be the last of the trilogy.
Then there was this from and interview with Jerry Bruckhiemer.
Capt. Jack Sparrow will buckle his swash for a fourth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Jerry Bruckheimer confirms.
"We've got a good jump on a story we're going to do," the producer tells the Sun when asked about continuing Sparrow's adventures beyond next summer's At Worlds End.
"We hope to (do more sequels)."
Clearly, any plans to leave Pirates a trilogy ended about the time July's Dead Man's Chest grossed a record-shattering US$132 million in its opening weekend, eventually crossing the $1 billion mark in worldwide box office.
Key to any Pirates 4, 5 or 6 is the participation of Johnny Depp, of course; fortunately for Bruckheimer and Co., Depp has publicly stated he'd be up for more high-seas action.
This is from Disney's PR people.
I can tell you thanks to my person inside the studio that there is serious talk about Pirates 4 still going on (some of it by Johnny himself). They are filming 3 out in Palmdale this week.
Once again Disney's PR people along with a few others.
There's a bit of good news for Pirates of the Caribbean fans all over the world. Disney head honchos have revealed that though the third 'Pirates' film will conclude the trilogy, it was unlikely that it will be the last sequel of the mega-hit movie.
Mark Zoradi, president of the Disney Motion Pictures Group said that the eagerly awaited third movie may not be the last Pirates film.
"The third film... will conclude the initial Pirates trilogy, though it is unlikely to be the last Pirates sequel,"
With the second movie in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, become the third film to passing the 1 billion dollar mark at the worldwide box office, bosses have decided to globally release the third and final flick in the series on 25 May 2007, rather than a gradual worldwide release.
So that is all the articles I could find and after doing that this is the conclusion I came too.
Johnny Depp - not signed to any deal, not committed, but would certainly consider it, I think Gore Verbinksi - not signed to any deal, not committed All other actors - not signed Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio - not signed to any deal Jerry Bruckheimer - would very much like to have another movie Disney - would like to have another movie under the right financial circumstances Pirates fans - seemingly pretty much split on whether there should be a 4th movie
That pretty much sums everything up for me.

Yeah its mostly just saying that a bunch of the actors and people want to do a fourth but its kinda a big iffy right now because of the budget and stuff.
